Data is required before any work can be printed or enclosed but once data is obtained
it may be many steps away from being usable. Data may need reprocessing,
converting to a different file format or document structure, or adjusting in some
way. Logo's may need to be added or removed, additional messages may need placing
on documents or control marks, such as OMR, may need inserting.
This is assuming that all the data is correct initially - often data may have a
fault which cannot be corrected in time to meet SLA's. Then there are the savings
that can be obtained if data is mailsorted, cleansed, or otherwise optimised.
In order to achieve all of this CMCS has its own in-house development team and a
suite of custom software which allows us to make sure your data will reach its intended
target. We can manipulate data as required by customers and will create bespoke
software as required.
We also provide document composition functionality, again using our own in-house
software, so we can help our customers produce documents from raw data. And if customers
have any integration requirements with existing applications we will create the
links in the chain that ensure your data flows smoothly between systems.
Development Tools
All of our development work is powered by the Microsoft .Net Framework, Microsoft
Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server and we use the latest tools and coding practices
to ensure all our work is robust and maintainable. Everything we produce is developed
in-house, ensuring we know your solutions inside-out, having personally built them
from the ground up
Microsoft .Net Framework
The .NET Framework is Microsoft's platform for building applications that have visually
stunning user experiences, seamless and secure communication, and the ability to
model a range of business processes. By providing you with a comprehensive and consistent
programming model and a common set of APIs, the .NET Framework helps you to build
applications that work the way you want, in the programming language you prefer,
across software, services, and devices.

Microsoft Visual Studio
Software developers need a solid environment to work in that will help bring their
applications to life. And collaboration is more important than ever before, as today’s
development projects expand in complexity and scope.
The Visual Studio development system is a comprehensive suite of tools designed to
help software developers create innovative, next-gen applications.

Microsoft SQL Server
SQL Server delivers on Microsoft’s Data Platform vision by helping your organization
manage any data, any place, any time. Store data from structured, semi-structured,
and unstructured documents, such as images and rich media, directly within the database.
SQL Server delivers a rich set of integrated services that enable you to do more
with your data such as query, search, synchronize, report, and analyze.
SQL Server provides the highest levels of security, reliability, and scalability
for your business-critical applications. To take advantage of new opportunities
in today's fast-moving business world, companies need the ability to create and
deploy data-driven solutions quickly. SQL Server reduces time and cost of management
and development of applications.
