Following the publication of the August 2009 CPAS Accredited printers list, CMCS have become the only company to be listed as both a Standard 55 certified Cheque printer AND a Cheque print DR site provider. This puts CMCS in the unique position of being capable of providing both a pure Disaster Recovery solution as well as Business Continuity and Peak Management support.

In the event of a Customer losing complete site access or production capabilities, all staff, process, procedures and MI requirements can be transferred to the CMCS production site, where BAU requirements can be maintained according to the Customer’s procedures and methods, ensuring that Customer staff feel confident and secure in the new environment and giving Continuity of normal processes.

However, should a small scale issue or market forces cause a backlog or unexpected volume increase, the Customer cannot relocate staff as they are required to achieve maximum production at the prime location. This is where CMCS’s unique position becomes apparent. As CMCS is also an accredited cheque printer in its own right, it can receive Customer data and process, print and mail using our own staff, procedures and processes, which are certified to Standard 55 requirements.

This gives Customers the security of knowing that they have a tested and proven method of handling additional requirements should they arise, without the added expense of capital expenditure to cover a worst case scenario.
